My Experimental art About:
One of the major events for me during 2020 so far, was:
The experimental art project “TemperatYRA!” invented and launched in 2018 by the creators of the YRA (Young Russian Artists) art community. It features complete freedom of expression for artists, horizontal principles of the formation of the art environment, pop-up format. The exhibition is held annually.

About Elena's Art
About Artists, Snowflakes and the Electric World
“TemperatYRA!” is devoted to the topic of “overheating” of the artist’s creative and emotional state and the environment in which he works. Temperature is an indicator of state, the degree of heat, an indicator of ill health. The authors of the project are asking questions: where to get a tool for measuring creative tension in the space of contemporary art? Can you create one? How accurate will it be?

One of the goals of TemperatYRA is to track which topics are actually of interest to artists? Artists, as subjects of perception, react to environmental disturbances by resonating both externally and internally. The fever caused by the haste to live and create leads to a complete inability to notice this life itself. Art makes it possible to stop here, now, to look at what is happening from a different perspective and to make an adequate assessment of what’s really going on. The personal is transformed into the general, the external becomes the internal. The circle is closed. Emotions and experiences need an outlet, which allows not only to share their feelings with the world, but also to give life to works that will flow into the space of art and, in turn, become a reference point for subsequent measurements.
Temperature. Heat. Fever. Acceleration. Reflection. Process of creation. Output. Seeing the big picture. Calmness. A person is characterized by the desire to understand, comprehend, bring everything to a structure. Until that happens, the fever will continue.
How Art Fixing “Stress of the environment”
It was for the purity of the experiment that the project was conceived, where there are no strict curatorial restrictions either in topics or in mediums. Once a year, authors can exhibit any work that meets the basic and unchanging idea from year to year: reaction to the “stress of the environment” in the present, reflection, assessment of what resonates in a given period of time.
A feature of the exhibition is the invariable concept of the project, which serves as a tool for rethinking and measuring the degree of heating of the art environment in the modern context of art.
What is a contemporary artis art about?
