Fluxus “Research of wild Black Sea jellyfish”
Based on inspirational Albert Einstein quotes: “If you cannot explain something to a 6-year-old child, you don’t understand it yourself.

Study of wild Black Sea jellyfish Fluxus.
2021 year
I have been reading the “Science and Life” magazine since my school days.
The 12th issue of each year usually contains a summary of important scientific events for the year.
The format of messages in this review is as follows: scientists of such and such a university, surnames, received such and such award for such and such discovery, research, etc.
One phrase hooked me and fascinated me. The theme sounded as follows: “Registration of neutrinos by elastic rebound.”

I got stuck a little and began to analyze:
First: Can you imagine in what the area of this topic is? How far is it outside the area of our visual perception?
Secondly, I noticed that the problem is in just one word – neutrinos. For example, will the phrase become clearer if “neutrino” is replaced by the word “ball”?
How can you register a neutrino bounce, moreover an elastic one? Feel free to add to any part of this sentence. For example, “purple” will not become much clearer.
I have a hypothesis that the existence of all these nano-micro-cosmic particles is in the agreement with a very narrow circle of initiates. The overwhelming majority of people saw neither neutrinos, nor bosons, nor any other elementary particle on a subnuclear scale.
But what if science is, in principle, a global hoax?
It is no coincidence that funding for scientific research is being reduced in our country. Scientists migrate to Western universities, departments of theology are opened in our universities, and in technical universities, priests consecrate rockets going into space. In all seriousness, there are points of view that the earth is flat, etc.

These are the thoughts that led me to artistic practice in the field of the genre, which I called “pseudo-science art”
I find in the space around me some kind of simple, everyday happening that can happen anywhere, for example, right in the kitchen. And I assign it the status of scientific character, I carry out the substitution of the context. As if pulling an event out of its usual shell and pulling on another.

Last summer, I planted a vegetable garden. What grew well and did not require special care, many varieties of salads …
And the salad turned into a jellyfish.

In the preparation to and conducting research, several stages are distinguished, which differ from each other in the forms and procedures of research activities.
∙ identifying the object of research. An object is the area of reality that contains certain contradictions (ie, is the bearer of a problem situation) and to which the process of cognition is directed. In other words, what the research is aimed at.
(choose one jellyfish, write down its name in Latin in the table)
∙ identifying the subject of research. The subject is the properties, sides, features of the object, which in the most complete form express the problem under study and are subject to study.
(explain why I chose her)
∙ designation of the purpose of the research. The purpose of the research should focus on the final result of the research.
(to formulate the question – what do I want to find out about this jellyfish?)
∙ putting forward hypotheses. A hypothesis is a scientific assumption about the state of an object, about the structure of connections between its constituent elements.
(guess the answer to this question)
∙ development of tools – research methods. For example, visual inspection, examination of tentacles, placement in a familiar environment, for example, in a jar of water, microscope
(choose a tool)
∙ confirmation or refutation of the hypothesis
document the study: take a photo and video of a jellyfish in a bank, post it on Instagram under hashtags.
